Mandy Rowden is a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and generally really nice gal. This is the place to find out about shows, see pics, connect online, buy albums, and get to know Mandy better. Beyond writing, touring, and making records, Mandy is the proud creator of Girl Guitar in Austin, Tx, and a teacher and music leader at Lucky Star Art Camp. She has been a contributing songwriter for Songs For The Soul, a contributing writer for Guitar Girl Magazine, and a regular instructor at Own Your Own Universe. In March of 2017 Mandy signed with Howlin' Dog Records. Mandy is a Gibson Artist, plays with Elixir Strings, uses Shubb Capos, Electrovoice microphones, Fishman DIs, and Supro Amps. Mandy is a Lee Oskar Harmonicas Preferred Player. Mandy has a Master's Degree in Musicology from Texas State University and is currently writing a book on the history of Texas women singer-songwriters. Mandy is also the drummer in Austin's all-female country hits band The Rhinestone Renegades.
